Change the world, one surgery at a time.
Project Change: The World provides free surgery and medical care to vulnerable patients in communities with limited access.

Project Change: The World is an international charity supporting reconstructive, orthopedic, maxillofacial, ophthalmological, and other essential surgical care in some of the world’s poorest communities.
Care where it is needed most
In June 2009, Project Change refurbished a hospital and operated on more than 100 patients in Bujumbura, Burundi. The organization’s work is rooted in practical service: creating access, restoring function, and treating every patient with dignity.
Across his career, Dr. Johnson has performed more than 2,000 pro bono procedures during service trips to Burundi, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Ecuador, Haiti, Tanzania, and Zaire.
